COSTUME CONTEST

The Costume Contest will be judged in one of three categories: INDIVIDUAL – COUPLE –GROUP.  Each contestant will be issued a number for judging purposes.

SCORING

In Rally Theme – 0 to 15 points

Creativity/Originality – 0 to 15 points

Enthusiasm – 0 to 15 points

Total Maximum Score = 45 Points In case of a tie the judges will pick, for each participant, what place they think the costume/act should place OVERALL

Chapter SHIRT Competition

There are rules for everything...The number one rule in all of these competitions is in stone and not available for discussion... HAVE FUN!

Below you will find a set of rules for all the District competitions.  There are also links for the Rally Competition Score Sheets we use and the Chapter Visitation Form and Rules.  The District Director has final say in any disputes.

The main purpose of the Chapter Shirt Competition is to have “FUN”, promote participation, and show your chapter’s sense of pride…Friends for FUN, Safety, and Knowledge.

Chapter must have a minimum of FOUR fully registered participants.

Each participant must have their GWRRA membership card.

Failure to show their armband and GWRRA membership card the Chapter will not be judged.

Only the Chapter Shirt will be judged.

SCORING
GWRRA 10 inch back patch – 5 points
District Designation (acronym or logo) – 5 points
Chapter Designation (acronym or logo) – 5 points
All Shirts Identical – 5 points
Neatness – 0 to 15 points 

Comfort level of Competitors – 0 to 15 pointsTotal Maximum Score = 50 points. 

Chapter Pride Competition

This is an opportunity to demonstrate a Chapter’s Pride/Spirit. This is not a substitute for the District Talent Show.
Participating Chapter must have a minimum of 4 Participants.
Each Participant must be fully registered at the rally.

The Chapter shall perform a chant or cheer that reflects their Chapter Pride.

Time limit is 2 minutes once all Participants are assembled.

The following areas will be judged based on the Chapter’s presentation: Creativity, Enthusiasm, Originality, & Theme Related.

Theme Related 0 to 10 points
Creativity 0 to 10 points

Smiling Faces 0 to 10 pointsOver 2 minute time limit minus 5 points
Total Maximum Score = 50 Points

Lighted Bike Parade

The Lighted Bike Parade/Show is a People’s Choice award.
• All Riders and Co-Riders participating in the parade must be in proper riding gear (ATGATT) and must have a proper registration armband on.  Helmets are required to ride in the parade.  In the event of a Show instead of a Parade helmets should be displayed with your bike.
• Each qualified motorcycle (see rule above) will be presented a number for selecting purposes.
• The parade will follow a designed route as given by District Team.
• A ballot will be provided to select your favorite lighted bike.  Write the number of your selection on the ballot.  One ballot per person please!
• Turn in your ballot at the designated location.
• The Top 3 motorcycles with the most votes will be chosen and awarded accordingly -  1st Place People’s Choice, 2nd Place People’s Choice, and 3rd Place People’s Choice.  Once the votes are counted, the winner will be announced at the conclusion of the parade.

Participants
• Line up your motorcycle at the designed time at the designated place.
• Rider/Co-Riders participating in the parade must be in proper riding gear (ATGATT). Helmets are required to ride in the parade.

Talent Show Competition

Time limit is 5 minutes per entry

Entries will be judged in one of the categories below: 
Comedy 3 or Less 
Comedy 3 or More 
Serious 4 or Less
Serious 4 or More

Talent - 0 to 10 points
Costumes - 5 to 10 points (If no costumes are used, 5 points for appearance)
Creativity/Originality - 0 to 10 points
Crowd Response - 0 to 10 points
*Theme Bonus* If act has the Rally Theme please give 5 to 10 Points

Scrapbook Competition

Scrapbook must be submitted for judging only by fully registered participant.
Only scrapbooks submitted by Florida District Chapters will be judged.
Electronic or commercially published/printed Scrapbooks will not be judged.

GWRRA Logo with Friends, Fun, Safety, Knowledge – 5 points

District Designation or logo – 5 points

Title or descriptions of various events – 0 to 10 pointsOverall Content – 0 to 10 points
Total Maximum Score = 50 Points

Mascot Competition

Mascots must be submitted for judging only by fully registered participants.

Only ONE Mascot per Chapter will be judged.

Only mascots submitted by Florida Chapters will be judged.

Cannot be a LIVE mascot!

Mascot must be able to fit on a 20 inch x 20 inch table space to include surrounding display.  Mascots will not be judged if they exceed the designated space.

Evidence of GWRRA identification - Any patch, pin, etc. with GWRRA name or logo – 5 points
GWRRA Logo with Friends, Fun, Safety, Knowledge – 5 points
District Designation – 5 points
Chapter Designation – 5 points

Appropriate to theme – 0 to 5 points

Creativity – 0 to 10 points
Overall Appeal - 0 to 15 points
Total (Maximum Score = 50 Points

Diorama Competition

Diorama - is any collage of a three dimensional nature. (If electricity is incorporated it must have its own power source, no external power is allowed nor will be provided.


Diorama must be submitted for judging only by fully registered participants.
Only ONE Diorama per Chapter will be judged.
Diorama can be no larger than 3 feet high by 3 feet wide by 12 inches deep .  If larger it will not be judged.
Stands and easels are not to be part of DIORAMA and will not be judged.

Collage Competition

Collage - a paste-up made by sticking together pieces of paper or photographs to form an artistic image, not to be three dimensional

Collage must be submitted for judging only by fully registered participants.
Only ONE Collage can be submitted per Chapter.

Collage can be no more than 3 feet high by 3 feet wide.  If larger it will not be judged.

Collage must be light enough to hang on wall without damage to same or placed on an undecorated stand or easel supplied by participant. (Stand or easel will not be judged).

Banner must be submitted for judging only by fully registered participant.  A Chapter can only submit ONE Banner for judging.  Judging will be based on having the following on your Banner:
